Back to the Dr.

It was back the dr. on Monday, this time for Logan. It was kind of a bummer because he brought home his report card on Friday and he had perfect attendance this last six weeks! And then over the weekend he had congestion and Sunday started complaining of an earache. Well with either boy this is NOT something to fool around with. Monday I couldn't even get him out of bed he felt so miserable.

I got him an appointment for 8:45. No fever, in fact he had a sub-fever. 96.5 which is actually a fever... WHO KNEW!! His weight was 91lbs so he was a pound less than a month ago. And when the dr came in (wasn't our normal dr, she is off on Mondays) She was just talking to him and then she commented that our dr had talked to her about the blood strep test that Logan had been given for his tics and that the strep count was extremely high. (BTW the antibiotics that he was put on seemed to help his tics!)

She then looked in his ears and discovered he for sure had an ear infection in his left ear and the start of one in his right. He was once again on antibiotics. This time a different kind since he was just on some.

We laid low for the rest of the day, after paying an arm and a leg at the pharmacy... and he is feeling much better!
